Potatoes – These tasty spuds are also an effective, natural remedy for dark circles. First, they are cool so they have soothing properties. More importantly, Potatoes contain catecholase, used in some cosmetics as a skin lightener, so this helps lighten the skin under the eyes. Apply grated potato wrapped in cheese cloth and drained or half a cut potato under your eyes for 15 min a week.
Tea Bags – Aside from making a refreshing drink, tea bags are considered to be beneficial in reducing dark circles. Simply put on a warm or cold tea bag on each of your eyes and let it rest there for a few minutes. Just pat it dry afterward and you will see that your skin looks and feels rejuvenated.
Almond Oil – Another effective remedy for dark circles which you can find in your kitchen is almond oil. Apply it gently on the skin around your eyes before going to sleep.
Something Cold – You may use an ice bag, a cloth dipped in cold water, or a chilled spoon and simply dab any of these onto the skin around your eyes. This will instantly reduce the appearance of dark circles and puffiness around the eyes.

Water – Drinking water is really important for the body and skin, let alone the dark and puffiness that can occur around the eyes. Drink around 8-10 glasses of water a day to promotes proper circulation of blood around your eyes; thus preventing blood accumulation.
